What is it?
Anti-wrinkle treatments can be used to both soften and improve their appearance but also prevent them from progressing and worsening. As we age, our skin loses its elasticity and produces less collagen. This, combined with repeated contraction of the facial muscles, creases the overlying skin causing furrows and grooves. Gummy smile
A gummy smile is when the lip rests high on the gums when smiling and can happen due to a hyperactive muscle in the upper lip or aggravated by a thin upper lip. This issue can be simply and effectively corrected by reducing the activity of the muscle that elevates the upper lip improving the appearance of any “gummy” smile creating a more appealing and natural smile.

Bunny lines
Bunny lines refer to the fine lines that sometimes appear on either side of your nose when wrinkled. These lines can be a natural part of growing older and some people find them charming whilst others may feel that bunny lines age their face. By using Allergen Botox for bunny lines we can minimize the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines that appear diagonally on both sides of your nose.

How long will it take before I see results?
Results are expected usually from the 3rd day of your treatment date.
How long will the results last for?
The results may vary from patient to patient, wrinkle injections last approximately 3-4 months.
Is the injection painful?
The procedure is safe, minimal – no pain and is quick to perform.
How long before I can go back to my normal life?
Some redness and irritation may be experienced during the administration of the injection and you can return to most of your normal activities the same day. To help reduce the risk of infection we recommend that you do not apply makeup to the areas injected for at least 12 hours and suggest you do not exercise for 24-48 hours (to reduce bacteria and to help reduce the risk of bruising). You may have bruising or swelling.
Do I need a follow-up appointment after my injection?
Usually not. However, patients are offered a complimentary touch-up on all our wrinkle treatment, this should be booked within 2 weeks, no later than 3 weeks of the first appointment.
Is the treatment safe and are there any side effects?
The risks of Botox injections are small if it’s done correctly by qualified practitioners like ourselves who will explain any risks. After the treatment you may have: a headache and flu-like symptoms for the first 24 hours.
